Back Home

Saturday Beth, Maclyn and Talus came by for a visit while they are in Colorado visiting family.

Gong to the pool!  Our neighborhood pool is open which is a plus, but it is very different from previous summers.  We can sign up for two 1.5 hour slots in a two week period.  It is better than nothing but that 1.5 hours flys by.

Ike and Via spend all day everyday playing with their friends.  They are living a summer dream.
Amelia, Via, and Adley took the mom purses and headed down to Rock pack.

The boys....just being boys!

After an hour or more I walked down to the park to check on the girls.... They packed up and started walking home.  They did not want to walk with me!  MOOOOM!  Hahahaha

They sure do wear themselves out!  They usually pass right out at bedtime.

Rollerblades, Bones, The Park and Golf

Via has mastered her roller-skates and because she spends so much time on them I was happy to get her a pair of rollerblades.  She started off like a pro.

Kade had a pare at home that he brought our so they could rollerblade together.

Grammie and I bladed around with her for a bit too.

Painting the bones they brought back.

They decided they wanted more of them so off they went on a bone hunting adventure.  They came back with a big load.

They gave this giant bone to Blue.  She was one happy dog!

A morning at the park working on pickle ball and playing in the swings.

Via took over the living room to set up her school.

Walking over to the golf course to hit some balls.  The kids all surprised me at how well they did.

Jace and I walking back to Grammies house.

I decided to join the kids on the trampoline.  It was more fun than I thought it would be and didn't make me feel nauseous.

I enjoy sitting up and Ryan's watching them take down the school.  It is sad to watch it go but also interesting.

Via talked Jace into brushing her hair while the kids all watched a movie.

The kids and I watching old videos of the four of them playing together.

Old photos, NASA launch & a sleep over

Via, Grammie and I love looking at old photos when we are home in Wyoming.  I had to take a pic of a few and Via talked Grammie into letting her take a few back to Colorado with her.

Me as a little

Me with my dad

Me and Ry Guy

I had this poof all of my childhood.  This was not our cat just a stray I brought in to take a nap with.  I loved cats!

This is a gem!!  This was our first family carnival cruise and I was 13ish.  My mom bought us these dresses for the dress up dinner night.  As you can tell by my teenage face I was NOT happy about it.  It felt like torture at the time, but I certainly have not forgotten that dress and how much I hated it.

We all watched the NASA Spacex Launch right when the Julsons got here for our Saturday afternoon hang out.

Oli, Blue and Pearl joined the kids down in the ditch to play.  Happy dogs and happy kids!

Denny and Ryan went out on a dirt bike ride.  Ryan had to ride Kade's bike.

Cornhole is always good for some good laughs and family fun competition

Shooting pellets of the porch

The kids chased the baby goat back into their pen and then tried to pet them.  Ike did not get anywhere near them.  He just stood back and watched.

Sleep OVER!  Ike and Via have tried sleeping over and Jace and Kade for a few years now, but this was the first year it was a success and I didn't have to come pick them up.  They were SO excited and had a great time.

The next morning I went over for a cup of coffee and then to bring them back to Grammie's house.  They were not very excited to see me.  They didn't want to leave.
