Ike Ortho

Ike has begun his ortho journey. I remember doing the same about his age. It is not fun but he has been doing awesome.

First was the spacer bands. Not very comfortable! He followed all the rules well and they stayed put just like needed.

 Two days later the permanent spacer was put in. This is supposed to keep the spacing of his bottom teeth, so that he will have room for all his adult teeth to fit in. He will have to wear it until all his adult teeth on the bottom have come in. 

 Then they gave him a model of his bottom teeth. The whole time he was in the office Via had me read a whole book with pics and back stories of decaying teeth. Good times.

Our last week in Arizona

A trip to the Mesa Market

Picking oranges in Grammie and grandpa's backyard. 

Painting a masterpiece in the garage.

Via gave Gram and I some interesting hairdos while we worked on our puzzle. Then she would have one of us do hers the same way.

We couldn't come all this way and not make a quick trip to Tucson to see my friend Jessie and her family. It was a quick 24 hr trip, but the kids loved getting some playtime with other kids. I loved getting to spend some time with Jess and Jason.

Gram, Denny, kids and I went to see Mary Poppins Returns. Very cute!
