Seguin 2014

We had a wonderful weekend with my cousin Dacota and her family at their home in Seguin, TX.  The little cousins played so well together and had a blast.  This year was so much easier with Olivia on the go and part of the action.

Ike in school

Ike has been in school for over a month now.  He LOVES it!  His teacher has a website for parents where she post information and pictures so we can see what they are learning and doing.  He is clearly having a great time.

Olivia's First Dentist Appointment

Ike is a pro at dentist visits now so when Olivia was watching him get his teeth cleaned she kept saying, "my turn now."  He was a great role model for her.  When Ike was done Olivia hopped right in the chair and got her teeth cleaned.  They both did great!

When they are done that get a cheap little toy and that makes the whole trip a big and exciting deal for them.

Space Center Houston

Ike and Denny have made several trips to the Space Center before, but this was the first time Olivia and I went along.  Ike LOVES going and Olivia had fun too.

Today we were able to see the US Mission Control Center. This is only open for viewing when not in use and so it is a rare treat.  Denny and Ike have been there about seven times and this was a first for them too. The International Mission Control Center is on the other side of the wall and was currently in use.  

After a fun and busy morning they both fell right to sleep in the car.  Both holding the "toy" they picked out from the gift shop.

Olivia is 2!!

Olivia had a wonderful 2nd birthday.  We (Me, Nanna, Via, and Ike) went to play at Giggles and Fun in the morning.  Then she had a long nap.  When she woke up from her nap she had new princess dresses and princesses waiting for her.  We ate pizza for supper and followed that up with some cupcakes.  She had a fabulous day!
