Beauty and the Beast Tea Party

Today Olivia was in princess heaven!  She has been so excited about this for two weeks and today her princess dreams came true.  It brought me so much joy to see how happy she was.  Here are all the girls at her table when we were dropping off.  To her right is her friend and neighbor Amiliea and to her left is her bud Fiona.

About 30 minutes into the 90 activity the real Belle came in to surprise all the girls.  Via's face was priceless.

Belle sang with them, danced and shared a story.

All the girls were given a mirror to decorate and take home.  Princess dreams do come true!!

Ike's First Broncos Game!

Papa, Denny, and Dave all got to be a part of this exciting experience for Ike.  We were nervous about how he would do with the noise and long day, but he came home and couldn't wait to tell Via and I all about it.  He loved every minute.  There was also a rain delay during they game do to lightning, Ike didn't mind a bit and just enjoyed the day.

Flag Football, Soccer, and Ike rides his bike to School

Fall sports have begun.  Ike and John before their first flag football game last Saturday. Ike caught an interception and panicked and quickly threw the ball away when everyone started running at him.  Ha!

Olivia trying out soccer this fall.  She scored two goals for her team and one goal for the other team in her first game!

Ike has been wanted to ride his bike to school for some time.  Today Katie took Ike and her three boys on bikes to school Thursday morning.  Ike LOVED it!  Then Denny rode with him and Tanner to school Friday morning.

Today Olivia Rielle is 5!!

A sample of her writing her name under me writing her name last week.

Last Thursday she celebrated her birthday at preschool then came home and enjoyed another birthday cookie.

This morning a mildly grumpy 5 year old woke up and was not interested in a selfie with me.

When I pointed out her little birthday gift her attitude turned for the better.  The day before Denny and the kids were looking for a gift for me and Via really wanted to get me a snow globe.  Denny knew I wouldn't love it and picked out a puzzle for me.  We decided she would enjoy it much more that I would and it would be a nice thing for her to wake up too.

Then we packed up the car and headed back down the mountain.  Our first stop of Red Robin for a birthday lunch for the birthday girl.  It was not one bit of a surprise that she picked the same place big brother picked for his birthday.

Then we came home to a card from Grandpa Phil and Grammie.  Each sent 5 dollars.  Very exciting!

She also spotted her very own polaroid camera.  She said many times she wanted a real life camera for her birthday.  She got a digital one from Nanna and Papa and polaroid from us.

Winter Park. Labor Day. I am 38!

It was a beautiful and fun weekend at Winter Park with family! We arrived Friday in time for supper and Nanna and Papa to take the kids to the hot tub before bed.  Saturday we spent the whole day at winter park slopes.

A large part of the day was spend going up the chairlift and down the alpine slide.  The kids LOVE it!

This was the first year we also went up the large chair lift to the top.  We had some ice cream and came back down.  I was not a fan of the long lift ride and going down is worse than up. Heights and having my young kids sitting on these lifts scares the heck out of me!

Then a trip through the maze.  Denny had to go in and help them find all of the letters.

And just like that it was Sunday and I am already 38 years old!  I started the morning with a massage then a quick lunch by myself (cinnamon roll and Bloody Mary). Yum!

Then I met up with Denny and the kids.  They had on some cute new CO hats.  We took them for some ice-cream.

Then we headed back to the condo.  Nanna and Papa took the kids to the library then the circus.  While Denny and I went to the movie Wind River that out for supper at a delicious Indian restaurant.

Then we all met back at the condo for some Tres Leches cake.  Yum!
