The Houston Museum of Natural Science

Last Sunday we took the kids to the Museum of Natural Science.  Ike loves going to look at the dinosaurs and he had been asking to go for weeks.  Olivia loved the freedom of wondering around in a new place.  It was game day so the kids are both dressed accordingly.

When we were ready to leave and head home we walked out to the car and when we tried to start it the battery was dead.  We had timed our departure perfectly with nap time so we had two tried kids and no ride home.  We called roadside assistance and luckily after about another hour we had help and were happily on our way home.  Olivia passed out immediately.  Some days out just don't go as smoothly as planned!

Olivia is ONE

Baby girl turned ONE yesterday.  She had a bit of a fever and her teeth seem to be bothering her (she has two on the bottom and one on top with the second top tooth about to pop through) but she still managed to enjoy parts of her day.  When she woke up in the morning she saw her birthday gift right away and attacked.

She loved on her new Panda many times throughout the day.

Since she was feeling a bit out of sorts she wanted to toddle around with her sleepy time blanket.

Ike's first week at Discovery Bay Preschool

Ike is now in preschool Tuesday and Thursday 9:30-2:30 and he loves it.  His teacher is Miss Elise and she is very sweet.  There have been no tears and he is excited to go every morning when he wakes up.

Day One....He was excited to be there but that is hard to tell from the pictures!
