Olivia 2 Weeks and Ike 2 Years

Yesterday Miss Olivia hit the big 2 week mark.  On Friday the 14th she weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and her bilirubin was down to 12.5.

Today Ike had his two year check-up.  He weighs 25 pounds which puts him in the 10th percentile.  This was a first because for the first 18 months of his life he was in the less than 3 percent category.  His height was 35 1/2 inches and put him in the 75th percentile.

Olivia is One Week

This past week has passed by so quickly!  Olivia has been to the doctor every day except Sunday for weight checks and bilirubin checks.  Friday her weight was down to 6lbs 11oz and the doc wanted me to start her on formula because that was a 10 percent loss.  I decided to give it ONE more day to see if my milk would come in and sure enough it did that night and on Saturday she was still the same weight.  Now her weight is up to 7lbs and 2.5oz.  Her bili was still going up though.  She had her blood checked yesterday and it was 16.6, but luckily it went down to 15.7 today.  We get a few days off now from visiting the pediatrician and don't have to go back until Friday. Thank goodness!!

Ike on the run.

Ike is still adjusting to being a big brother but it is obvious he is starting to love little Livy.

Olivia Rielle Vigil is HERE!!

Our little princess Olivia was born on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:15 pm.  She weighed 7 pounds 7.5 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.  We feel so blessed to have our baby girl home now with her big brother.  Ike spent a lot of time at the hospital seeing her and seemed to think she was okay, but he was not to happy when Denny and I pulled up in the driveway with Olivia.  He is really starting to come around and has started loving on her.

Grammie Vicki and Nanna Julie are both here and have been a HUGE help with EVERYTHING.  Denny and I are so lucky to have such wonderful moms who came to help us and Ike through this transition.  I don't know what I would have done at the hospital without them and now at home.  Thank you so so much Grammie and Nanna.  We all love you both more than words can say.

Almost 39 weeks and almost 33 years

Tonight Denny and I are getting a sitter and going out for supper in Houston.  After dinner we will be picking Grammie up at the airport.  Then tomorrow I will be the big 33 and Nanna will be getting to town.  Once Grammie and Nanna are here we will be ready for the 4th when we plan to meet Miss Olivia.
