First Day of School 2014

Ike started the school year today.  He is in afternoon PPCD at Randolph Elementary School.  School is 12:40-3:40 Monday - Friday.  This is a brand new school and a new teacher and her name is Mrs. Shivers she has two full time aides in the classroom too.  There are four kiddos in the class right now but I'm sure that will grow to the max of 12 in no time.  One little guy, Jude, also moved to the new school and was in Ike's class last year.  It was nice for all of us to see one familiar face.

Before school

Via needed to be a part of the picture too

In the classroom.  He was pretty shy and just played with the cars while Via and I were there hanging out with him for a few minutes.  He started to follow us as we left but a teacher quickly distracted him with a cool toy.

He was still napping every few days, but now he won't have nap time Monday-Friday.  He fell asleep on the bus ride home and that will probably happen daily for a while.  He was happy to be home but said he had a good day and was excited to go back tomorrow.  Yay!

Ike is 4!!

Ike turned the big FOUR this year. We had a wonderful time celebrating a few days early (Aug. 17) with our Wyoming friends and family.

Ike has been very interested in the solar system lately and that is what he wanted on his cake.  I am so happy we were able to find someone who could make that happen for him.

Ike has been wanting people sing happy birthday to him for awhile and he started our a bit nervous, but he LOVED it!

Yummy cake!!

Uncle Ryan and Aunt Lindsay got Ike a fishing pole and it was a HUGE hit!

Ike stats....35.5 pounds and 40 3/4inches

Swimming lessons

Ike-a-boo and Jacer Bug (this is what they call each other) are taking swimming lessons at the aquatic center in Worland.  It is nice to have something to do with our mornings and they are both enjoying it.
