Wyoming Week One: Nintendo, Dogs, Pool, Playing Outside

We brought Ike's Nintendo Switch from home and all the kids are loving getting some Nintendo time: Mario Kart

Olive and cousin Blu are having a ball playing NONSTOP!  Kids playing pickle ball in the background.

Basin Pool!  Every year we spend more and more time here.  This year Ike and Via went straight to the diving board and went right off without hesitation.  Last year they were still trying to get comfortable with it, so I was surprised at how quickly they took to it this year.

Jace was doing front flips off the board by the third day at the pool.

Grandpa being super patient and letting Via help him make breakfast.

Aunt Sandy teaching Via how to do handstands in the pool.  I can't help but think about how many hours I spent doing handstands in this pool with my friends growing up.

At the building playing grandpa's Pac-Man game.

Kade let us take his old bike to Grammie and Grandpa's house. Via out riding in the rain.

Via trying to get grandpa wet in the rain.

Everyone, including neighbor Kenneth, playing just dance on Nintendo.

Using the ladder to help get to the bottom on the 10ft side of the pool.  Ike and Via are able to go to the bottom.

Ice Cream after supper at Cone Zone!

Neighbor's dog, Tuck, over to play.

Kids went down to visit the neighbors goats.

David and family up for the evening.

The youngest six grandkids, 2018! Kade and Via going into Kindergarten, Jace and Ike going into second grade, Elly going into 6th and Payton going into 10th grade.

Hangin out chatting

Today Aunt Sandy headed back home to Ohio.  We enjoyed our week with her very much!

Day 2 and 3: Mount Rushmore, Rush Mountain Adventure Park, Dinosaur Park, Mini Golf and a Maze

Mt Rushmore: It was a hot and humid morning, but we still walked around and watch the movie about the history of Mt. Rushmore.

Next Stop!

We all had a great time on the ropes course, zip line, caves and more...

Wind down for the evening trying out the interesting and very tart wine.

Again....soooo tired!

Day 3:  Dino park, glow in the dark mini golf, and wondering through a maze.

Ryan had to go in the maze and help them find the exit after about 25 minutes.  They were getting a little frustrated.

A quick stop at a park in Hill City before wrapping up our day.

What a great trip!
