Visiting AZ Friends, Ghost Town & A Mani

Saturday we drove into Phoenix to spend the afternoon and evening with the Blaydes family.
We all tried out Jason’s new toy. It was hard at first but fun.

The kids ran and played while we were at the park. Then we walked back to their house and had an amazing supper and time to catch up. It is nice to have them so much closer. We used to drive to Tucson to see them.

Sunday afternoon Denny and the kids went to see his friends Pat, Megan and their three boys in Queen Creek. I was not feeling well so I stay home to nap. Pic is Ike and Austin 9 years ago and now.

It is already our last day! This week really flew by. We went out to Ghost Town for a few hours to eat lunch and walk around.

I was trying to make dessert and Via wouldn’t stop bugging me about painting my nails so grandpa took one for the team.  Via enjoyed every minute. When it was all over she told him he owed her ten bucks! 😂 Of course grandpa paid up.

Via made, wrapped and prepared this handprint gift for Grammie and grandpa before we headed south.

Kindergarten team dressed up as elves to end our 2019 year. Such a fun group to work with!

Opening gifts in Erie so we don’t have to take them with us for Christmas.

They loved their cozy robes from the Julsons.

Via’s friend Amelia gave her a fun bling tool.

Ike’s First Avalanche Game

Denny and Ike had a boys night out.  First Ike went to Denny's office for the first time at Anschutz.  They had to pick up their tickets for the suite at the Pepsi center to go watch the game.  Then they went and had dinner at Earls Kitchen + Bar.  Ike said his hamburger was the best!

Killing some time before the game begins.

Lucky kiddo!  Relaxing in comfortable chair in a suite, eating candy and watching hockey with his dad.

Via and I had our own fun.  Via wanted dinner at Morning Glory Farm Fresh Cafe. Yum!

Then we came home and watched the Disney Zombies movie.  One of her favorites
