Halloween 2021

 Mid October Via and I had a get together with her friends and moms to carve pumpkins.  It is just a fun group for both of us to hang out with!

The next weekend was BOO on Briggs

The kids all wanted to enter the costume contest.  They did not win.  My amazon buys did not match up to the elaborate homemade fridge and stove they lost against.

Friday the kids walked in the school Halloween parade and had a classroom party right after.

Sunday and it is finally Halloween.  Ike's favorite Holiday ever that he looks forward to every year!  Everyone is finally ready to get going.

Asher, Bowen, Max, Ike and Chase went out together this year.  Bowen's mom followed behind them.  They sprinted from door to door and after an hour they were exhausted and all the candy they had was getting heavy so they headed home.

Via and I walked with Adley, Henley, Amelia, Odin, Elliana and their parents this year.

Via Getting Allergy Tests

This summer Via had pretty terrible seasonal allergies all summer. Then in September she got stung twice one week apart and both times she had a pretty big reaction. Today we spent our first day of fall break getting some allergy testing done. First, we did a skin test for cats at the allergy center. I just wanted to make sure that the cat sleeping in her bed was not contributing to the issue this summer. Then we did a blood draw test for Colorado Inhalants, honey bee venom, paper wasp venom and two other wasp venoms that I can’t think of. She did awesome. The skin test was pretty uncomfortable and she REALLY wanted to itch it. Via was a champ with the blood draw and barely flinched.
