Thanksgiving 2024

 Our Thanksgiving week was not very fun. Olivia stared by visiting urgent care on Monday and then ER at Children’s on Tuesday. The rest of the week was focused on getting her better. We did make it over to Nanna and Papa’s for a bit on Thanksgiving because Via insisted! It was a lot of work for her to get there and then she slept on the couch while we ate some delicious food. By Friday she really started to make some progress and to our surprise was back in school when it started on Monday. She ended up having pneumonia, atelectasis, rhinovirus, and sinusitis.  It was a lot for her little body, but thankfully after a few days on the correct antibiotic she started to turn around.

Goodnight Sweet Galaxy

Olivia got Galaxy for her 4th Birthday and she loved her tons!  Galaxy started not feeling well and so we took her to the vet and discovered that she had a large mass under her tongue and there was nothing that could be done.  We spend another few days with her but she was going downhill quickly so we made the hard decision to let her go. We had 8 wonderful years with her.

This was the first time Olivia met her at the humane society.

Car Accident, Kids, and Denmark

 In September I was in a car accident.  A car pulled out in front of me and I had no chance to stop. Totaled my car that was only 11 months old.  The guy who pulled out in front of me didn't have insurance which was another bummer? Thankfully our insurance did pretty well.  Thankfully I was uninjured and walked away with only a bruise from the seat belt.

Kids have been really busy with friends and sports.  They got to spend one week at home with Grammie and Grandpa while Denny and I went on our 20 year anniversary trip to Denmark.  Kids had a good week and Denny and I had a great trip!

Back to School, Aspen, LA and Birthdays

Kids are back in school! We now have two middle schoolers, CRAZY!  Ike turned 14 and went to top golf with some friend and then with a few other friends to water world on another day.  Via turned 12 and she and some friends celebrated roller skating.  Bob and Julie took the kids to LA over Labor Day weekend and had a great time! While they were gone Denny and I spent the weekend in Aspen and also had a wonderful weekend away. Denny, Olivia and I went to a Lauren Daigle concert at Fiddlers Green.
