Ike is 9!

I can't believe my baby boy is 9 (I'm sure I say this every year)!  The years just fly by and I want time to slow down so I can enjoy these wonderful years a bit longer.  All I can think is in 9 more years he will be an adult! The first nine went to fast and I know the next 9 will go even faster.  Ike had a joint birthday party at Ninja Nation with his buddy John again this year and it was a hit!

Back to School we go!

This year I am so excited to be working at the kids school!  I am a Kinder Para.  My first day was Friday, Aug 9th.

Today, Aug. 13, was Ike and Via's first day of school. We had a bit of a rough start with Via stressing over hair and clothes and shoes, but we survived and all of us had a good day.

I didn't run into the kids once today at school, but I know there will be days I do and that is one of many reasons I am so happy to be working at their wonderful school.

NationalNightOut & TheGreatOudoorWaterpark

We went and checked out National Night Out at Erie Community Park.  Kids were given a passport to explore every station and get a stamp.  They had a great time!

Learning about gun safety

Sack races

The next morning we finally made it to a newer waterpark in Lafayette. We had planned to go last summer when it opened and didn't make it until now.  The kids had a great time and we were there for over 5 hours!

We had lunch and a sweet treat while there.

Wyoming ❤️....See you again next summer!

Sunday the 28th David, Jody and the girls spent the afternoon with us.

We didn't spend as much time the pool as we have in the past, but we still got in a little pool time.

Grammie giving everyone a gift basket.

Making messes with paint.  Inside and Outside

Playing Sorry. It sounds like they make up their own rules and go with it.  If all four are happy I just stay out of it.

Many trips to the Cone Zone

Olive living her best life.  She is just in doggie heaven at Gammie's house.  She has her cousin Blu and the neighbor dogs Tuck and Pearl to play with all.day.long!

The horses escaped their fence a few times.  It gives us all some entertainment trying to get them back in.  Kade is trying to keep Oli back from chasing them.

We went to the cornerstone ceremony for the new schools in Basin.  It was different and boring, but then we got to tour the schools.

The new high school gym.

The old high school where I went to school.

And the old elementary where I went to school.  They may both be torn down by the time I make it back for a visit again.  Kinda sad to see them go.

The summer tradition continues...matching shirts pic
