This past weekend we met the Garmany crew at Dillon Reservoir for a few days of camping. We got there about 1 pm on Saturday and headed home about 6 pm on Sunday. We thought about staying a second night but decided for our first time one night was plenty. Ike did great! He loved being outside and with the boys. Olivia was also pretty good but had her moments. Thankfully both the kids slept really well in the tent snuggled up in their sleeping bags. It was pretty cold during the night and I stayed awake most of the night worried they would have trouble sleeping. When they woke up in the morning at about 6 it was very cold and Olivia was not having it. She did not want to stay in her sleeping bag so she and I went for a warm drive until everyone else woke up. We had so much fun and look forward to doing it again next year. It will only get easier!
The water was very cold but the kids still enjoyed getting their feet wet.
