Ike and Potty Training

It is time for us to tackle the joys of potty training.  I already feel burnt out on the whole potty training buisness and I just started with Ike.  I think it is because I helped with Sam and Ben so I feel like I have been doing this forever.  Ike LOVED sitting on the potty in Wyoming but we didn't push it and he never actually went in it.  Now that we are serious his love of sitting on the potty is gone.  He cries for us to put a diaper on when he has to go to the bathroom and gets really excited when it is time for a diaper at bed time.  I hear girls are much easier to potty train so after boy #3 I really hope that is true when it is time for Olivia.

Olivia's appointment

January 25th I took Olivia in for her four month appointment after getting back from Wyoming.  She is 25.5 inches, 16lb 2oz, and her head is 17.01".  Our baby girl is getting so big!

Olivia Sitting and Baby Kade

Olivia is starting to get the hang of this sitting business.  The best part is when she slowly falls to one side or the other.  She will be a pro in no time.

It has been wonderful getting to spend so much time with my family and getting to meet baby Kade.  The next time we see him he will probably be on the move.  They grow up so fast.  We love you Kade!

Banana for Livy and Funny Brother

Olivia seems very interested in what I am eating these days so I gave her a tiny piece of banana.  It was sitting on her lip and she started gagging.  Apparently she didn't like it, but she did like sitting in the high chair like a big girl.

Olivia thought it was pretty funny sitting on Ike's back and watching him kick his feet.  Ike is always happy to entertain.

Happy Birthday Kade and Uncle Ryan

Kade Kash Julson was born 2:58 p.m January 15th.  7pounds 14ounces and 21 inches long.  Congrats to Ryan, Lindsay and big brother Jace!

Uncle Ryan turned 32 the next day, January 16th.
We love you all and we were so happy to be around to celebrate with all of you!

It is cold outside...

....but Ike doesn't care one bit!  He would like to play out there all day.  Yesterday grammie bundled him up and took him out to play in the snow.

Snow

Now that we live somewhere that snow will not be a part of our lives we are happy that we still have family that we can visit and enjoy some real winter.
