Camp IdRaHaJe 2019

I have been dreading this day!  I am so nervous for their first sleep away camp and just hoping they have a great time.  Car is all loaded up and we are heading out.

Grabbing a quick lunch at Chick-fil-A before driving to camp in Bailey, CO.

We have arrived!

The kids playing on the playground while we wait to register and get their beds ready.

Ike and Asher outside their cabin.  I knew Ike would have a friend at camp, but Via didn't know one girl.  I was so worried she would get lonely.

Three long nights away from my littles without one word on how they were doing was so hard.  I couldn't wait for it to be over so that I could make sure they were okay.  They were very okay!  Made so many friends and had such a great time!  I was so happy to see them and hug them and know they had the best time!

Summer

After a very busy first week of summer traveling and with family the kids had two weeks of VBS.  The loved both! It has been a cooler and wet June which has made great park weather.

One day after VBS we headed to Waneka lake.  There is a great shaded playground there and a pond for the kids to play in and on.

We decided to take this sweet ride for a spin.

Elizabeth and I peddled for the first 10 minutes and then the boys took over.

Another afternoon we spent at the library and then went over to the Erie skate park.

While we were there the Erie Police were doing a training so we watched a medical helicopter land at the park.

After the last morning of VBS we went to check out a bike park in Broomfield.  The kids had a great time.

It also has a really neat play area that the kids played on until the rain was coming down to hard and we all headed home.

Next, it was our neighborhood garage sale weekend.  The kids joined Tanner and Amelia in their driveway to sell some drinks.

This weekend we spent a couple afternoons at a park at Star Meadows Park.

Yesterday we spent the day at Lyon LaVern M Johnson Park.  The kids had a wonderful time and both can't wait to go back.
The drive there is beautiful!

They spent at least 2 hours in this spot building with sand, rocks and weeds on these big rocks.

Here are their cool creations.

Eating lunch.  They did not sit here long.  Had to run off and play.

Mommy/Daughter Day

The boys headed to the mountain this morning for an overnight boy scout camping trip, so Via and I had a girls day out.

First stop: Three hours at Boondocks

After lunch at Boondocks Via wanted ice cream at sweets.

Then friend time with Amelia. They ride bikes and played outside until the lightning started. Then time to build a fort.

 Then dinner at Noodles.

Via and I wrapped up the evening on the couch watching America's Got Talent. Love my girl!
