New house and Olivia will be coming soon!

It has been a month now since we moved into our new home in Katy, TX.  We love our house and love our neighborhood and neighbors.  It is so nice to be unpacked and comfortable and thankfully we were able to get it all done before Olivia decided to come.  We still have many little things that we would like to do, but we will just worry about all of that once we have adjusted to life with a 2 year old and a newborn.

Ike brought home a wonderful 24 hour stomach bug that landed me in the hospital for dehydration.  Due to being very dehydraded and not being able to keep anything down they needed to put me on IV fluids and monitor Olivia because she was not a very happy baby either.  Our wonderful neighbors took Ike overnight for us while we stayed at the hospital.  While in the hospital the doctor decided that she wanted to induce me at 39 weeks and give me a few more days to recover.  Induction is set for September 4th.  We are very excited to meet our baby girl.

Ike is 2

After a rehearsal dinner, wedding, and a reception we still had one more party to go and that was to celebrate our little man turning 2. We started out the morning with a swim at Grandpa Phil and Aunt Lisa's hotel. Then had everyone over to Nana and Papa's house for the afternoon. It was only fitting to have a basketball themed party for our sweet boy. Ike had a wonderful day. Thank you so much to everyone that was able to celebrate with us!

All the little boys I love from Grand Junction!  Caleb 7, Aiden 3, Ben 4, Ike 2, and Sam 6

Aiden is trying to get Ike to do a "cheers"

See the blue and white basketball hoop on the cupcake?  That was all he cared about for the rest of the afternoon.

To end our party weekend Krissy and Derek had a watermelon eating contest.  They managed to eat the same about in 5 minutes and feel horrible for several hours.

Uncle Derek and Aunt Meg's Wedding

Ike, Denny and I made a quick trip to Grand Junction last weekend to celebrate Uncle Derek and Aunt Meg's wedding with the rest of the family.  It was a beautiful wedding and we had a wonderful time spending time with family and friends.

Thursday night was the rehearsal dinner at Nana and Papa's house.

Krissy gave Ike a plate of sour cream and chips and Ike used one chip as a way to get all of the sour cream in his mouth and all over himself.

Saturday was the wedding. Denny was the best man and Ike was the ring bearer.

Congratulations to Derek and Meg!  We love you both!
