Merry Christmas!!

Olivia woke up before the sun (as always!) and on this special day I let you her go wake up Ike before coming downstairs to start the fun.

Santa brought a vanity and hair supplies for Via and he brought Ike a remote control car.

And once they figured that out...... They received a phone call from Minnie and Mickey Mouse!!

We are all so excited for our trip in January! I am shocked we were able to keep this secret from them for 9 months!

Christmas Eve

We started the morning baking cookies and decorating them.  We had to eat one too, of course!

Then we hung out and relaxed before heading over to Nanna and Papa's for a Christmas Eve Celebration.

Nanna and Papa had more cookies for the kids to decorate and eat.  They loved it!

Olive was having a good ole time with Wilson the cat and Mya and Gus the dogs.  Wilson only had to swat her a couple times until Oli minded her manners.

When Olive started getting a bit to crazy I picked her up to give everyone a break and she immediately passed out.

The kids have been waiting for this moment for DAYS!  They were very excited to be opening up presents.

Then they had a bit of time to enjoy them before we had to head home for bed and to get ready for Santa.

Wilson was very tolerant of Olivia and her smothering for far longer than I would be.

Yum, yum Santa!  Via and Ike also sprinkled oats in the yard for the reindeer.

The kids are tucked in and sound asleep. Denny and I have everything ready for when they wake up!

Meet Olive "Oli"

We have been planning on getting a puppy for a few months.  We were just waiting on a good fit for our family.  We adopted Olive today though 2 Blonde all Breed Rescue.  The kids and I headed down to Petco in Littleton where they have their adoption events.  Denny is in Tuscan with Bob and Julie for a marathon so he will get to meet her when he comes home.

Olive is a lab/? mix.  We think she is adorable!

Poor Olive was a bit nervous and whinny on our ride.  It was the first time she made a peep.

We are home and both kids wanted a turn to take her walking.

Her first time meeting Galaxy.  Olive was very interested in her and G stayed in my lap.  She hissed a few times but hopefully they will be buds eventually.

First time on the steps.  She didn't really want to go up, but did when we all went to the top. Going down was a different story.  She would not go down no matter how much coaxing.  So for now I will carry her down.
