Spring Break 2021

To begin spring break Grace, Via and Emery had their Friday night volleyball.  They have all been going since January and love it.  Elizabeth, Becky and I got to 3 Margaritas and enjoy a snack and drink while they play.  We all enjoy our Friday night!

Monday we went swimming at the Carbon Valley rec center with the Tates.

Tuesday we went to the Nature and Science museum in Denver

Friday we headed back to the swimming pool.

Friday night Ike slept over at Asher's house and Via had Grace stay at our house.  This is them at 5:30pm on Saturday.  Ike slept for 14 hours that night.  Via slept for 12 hours.  They were exhausted!

 

March 14, 2021 Storm

Yesterday was a day full of snow, wind and shoveling.  We spend most of the day staying warm in the house but did venture out a few times to do some shoveling.  It was cold and the snow was wet and heavy!

We woke up to the calm after the storm.  Denny and Ike headed out early and finished off the shoveling.  We got an impressive amount of snow!  I hope a plow comes through our neighborhood so the kids and I can get to the school tomorrow. The school called a remote learning day today instead of a snow day.   

We had a great day in the snow!  Tomorrow, Tuesday, schools called another online learning day.  With all the snow in neighborhoods it is hard to get out of the neighborhoods and onto the plowed main roads.
