Happy, Happy Birthday Olive!

Today Olive was a little extra spoiled for her first birthday. Ike wanted to give her toys and Via wanted to give her a birthday treat. We all sang Happy Birthday first thing this morning and then it was cookie and present time.

Olive has made life a bit busier, but we all love this sweet girl! 

Ike's 2nd Grade Field Trip: Denver Botanic Gardens

Denny and I chaperoned Ike's class field trip to Denver Botanic Gardens today. Were were put in charge of the 5 rowdiest boy in the class (I swear!) plus Daxton. Thank goodness one of the bunch was easy. Rourke, Nick, Ike, Dominic, and Keller kept us busy. I am so thankful we did not lose one of them!

 Denny and I kid free. We are wiped and so glad it is over, but happy that we were able to be there.

Winter Park 2018

We took the kids out of school Friday so that we would miss traffic and give us another day on the Mountain.  We made it to Winter Park about 11a.m. on Friday and Denny the kids and I got right to playing.

The polar bear pic....it is a must!

After the first round Denny and I took turns going up for the alpine slide.  The other got to chill for a bit and take a few pics.

The bungee trampoline was a favorite this year.  

They are getting a little braver every year.

It started to get a bit chilly and rainy toward the end of putt putt golf but they enjoyed it while it lasted.

Saturday Bob and Julie took the kids for a bit and went exploring and bowling.

After Denny and I had a nice lunch and relaxed for a bit we met up with everyone for dinner and cupcakes to celebrate our birthdays. Via 6, Me 39, and Ike 8

Aunt Danielle gave the kids a game.  Boy was this spitting toilet a huge hit!

Trying out the other game Saturday morning with Papa.  Via was making up all her own rules......that is so Via!

We all went on a nice hike up to a little waterfall.  Then out to lunch at Bistro 28 on a beautiful golf course.

Then the four of us headed to the pool/hot tub for our last evening in a beautiful place!
