The Great Erie Outdoor Adventure

Erie had a camp out at the community park last night.  We got there about noon yesterday and they had all sorts of activities for the kids.  Kayaking, jumping, climbing and bike riding.  Then in the evening after food trucks for dinner they played the movie "The Good Dinosaur".  I hung out for the afternoon then I headed out for a girls night of bowling.  Denny and the kids slept in the tent and the kids did great.  I headed back after a nice night in my comfy bed and helped load up and get everyone home.

They were both very nervous and cautious on the jumpers.  They didn't want to go very high and wanted off pretty quickly.

Galaxy

Meet Galaxy our new cat.  Last week I saw her online at the Longmont Humane Society.  I told Via we were going to go there and hang our with some cats and kittens.  We ended going up two days.  We met a few cats but saw Galaxy both days.  Then on Sat the 3rd I went to the Humane Society while Denny entertained the kids and we adopted sweet Galaxy.  She is about 1 1/2 years old and she is still a bit shy and getting comfortable with her new surroundings.  She is so good with the kids and tolerates Olivia's over the top attention and love pretty well.  The first night Galaxy hung out in the basement to give her some space and time to adjust a bit.  The next morning on Via's birthday we took the kids downstairs to meet their new cat.  They were very surprised and so excited.

This is the first time we met Galaxy at the Humane Society.

Here is Via right after we showed her the kitty on her 4th Bday.

Galaxy loves to visit everyone in bed.  Starting at about 4:30 in the morning.  So we are trying to get her to hang out more in the evening instead of so early.
