June 18th~ I had my last week of work as a nanny for Sam and Ben. It is still hard to believe that I will not be seeing them on a regular basis after being a part of their lives for 5 years. Luckily that week was so busy I didn't have time to dwell on the goodbyes.
June 22th~ The moving company came and packed up all our belongings and prepared them to be put on the truck the next day to haul to Houston. Ike had his first sleep over with Krissy at Aunt Danielle's house. All my things were now packed so I stayed at my friend Jayme's house and we got to spend some time together before it was time to leave.
June 23rd~ I said my goodbyes to my house and Jayme took Ike and I to the airport to begin our jouney to our new city, Houston. Ike and I arrived and saw Denny for the first time in three weeks and it was very nice to be together again as a family.
June 24th~ The house hunting began. We knew we wanted to be living in Katy, TX so we did an all day house hunting marathon and narrowed it down to three we liked.
The week of June 25th~ After going back and forth for a few days Denny and I decided what house we wanted and put in an offer on Thursday night. The three of us also spent some time exploring the area and taking Ike to do some fun kids things. We went to the Houston Children's Museum, an indoor bounce park, and went swimming at the apartment pool. We also checked out the fancy Galleria Mall and they had a pretty nice play area too. Ike stays pretty close to us when we go somewhere new, but after about 20 minutes he warms up and has a blast.
The week of July 2nd~ On Monday our offer was accepted and we will be closing on our new home in Katy, TX on July 27th. We are very excited to get all moved in and settled before Miss Olivia gets here. Ike and I hoped back on a plane on the 4th and headed to Wyoming to spend a few weeks with my family while we wait for the closing date to get here.
Thanks for the new blog post. I appreciate them even more now. I'm glad things are falling into place and I am so proud of all of you as your are navigating this challenging time in your life with amazing strength and grace. I miss you so much!! Can't wait for the wedding so we can see you. Give Ike lots of hugs and kisses from Nanna and Papa. I'd love to Skype with you sometime soon. Love you all so much!

Will be so anxious to get down to Katy, to see the new house & Olivia. Tho we are truely enjoying you & Ike right now while you are here in Basin with us. Going to be hard to let you goooo!! But I know that Denny misses you 2 terribly too, & visa versa, so thank you Denny for letting us have this special time with them. Do wish you could have joined them.
